English lessons · online & in person
I’m a qualified English teacher and I’ve been teaching since 2016. I work with children, adults and business professionals – each at their own pace, towards their own goals.

Hi, I’m Csilla!
About me
I trained as an English teacher at university and started my career in a school. That’s where I learnt that thirty children understand the same lesson in thirty different ways – and that a good teacher adapts to that, not the other way round.
For years now I’ve been teaching privately: primary school children and teenagers preparing for exams, adults who finally want to speak with confidence, and business professionals – private bankers among them – who use English every single day. I also have particular experience teaching children and adults with ADHD.
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all textbook schedules. I believe that when a lesson is about you – your goals, your work, the things you care about – English becomes yours much sooner.

My approach
Personalisation isn’t a slogan for me – it’s how the work gets done. In practice, it looks like this:
A relaxed first chat: where you are now, what you want to achieve, what has worked for you so far – and what hasn’t.
A plan built around your goals, your level and your schedule – rather than a generic textbook.
We practise with your real situations: negotiations, presentations, emails, travel – or next week’s school test.
We review your progress regularly. If something isn’t working, we change it.
Destination: confident English
What you can expect
I prepare for every lesson. I know where we left off – and where we’re heading.
Mistakes are welcome – necessary, even. Nobody gets embarrassed over a wrong tense with me.
Punctual lessons, transparent prices, clear agreements.
Whatever is said in a lesson – a business matter or a personal story – stays between us.
Who I teach
Playful but consistent lessons from primary school to the teenage years. School support, test preparation – and the courage to speak up.
Whether you’re starting again after years or polishing what you already know: conversation-led lessons at your own pace.
For private bankers, finance and business professionals: client communication, meetings, presentations, emails and terminology – in the language of your field.
Focused preparation for the format, typical tasks and timing of your exam – so there are no surprises on the day.
For children and adults
I have experience teaching English to children and adults with ADHD. I adapt the pace and structure of each lesson to the learner’s attention – patiently, and without judgement.

My favourite place in the world
Misty lochs, castle ruins and the kind of quiet you only find in the Highlands.
Outside the classroom
Favourite country
The Highlands, the heather, the castles – and of course the shaggy Highland cows. I’d go back every year if I could.
Favourite film
The theatrical cut, not the extended one. I rewatch it at least once a year – in English.
